so I started taking a couple of shots for todays 365 shot and suddenly it started raining extremely heavily - so this is all I could get - i got soaked but the camera seems ok

Thanks to all for your kind words - I have such a soft spot for these flowers, I was dropping some colleagues at home after work trying to work out what would be my photo for 365 when I spied the tree, quick u-turn and fired off three shots before the monsoonal rains put a stop to my efforts. This is probably a different angle than I'd usually use and in the end quite pleased
