There was a completely cloudless sky at sunset for a change, so I thought yay, ideal night for star trails - sadly once the sun was gone the clouds appeared. Also there was too much moonlight. But at least I got the noise reduction settings right this time. Whilst it looks like bright daylight it was very dark and isolated here and this old building was pretty creepy. Watching Season 1 of Supernatural this last week was not much help either, my imagination had all sorts of creepy things out there in the dark as I sat alone waiting for the shot and then for the camera to process it.
Also, you've got ruins?! Why are we just seeing them now?
