Tonight was a celebration for the opening of the Chinese Cultural Museum and for the Mooncake Festival

Festivities included a Lion Dance, I spied a couple of kids closely examining one of the Lion Dance costume heads, lighting wasn't great done there, I was just using ambient light and praying the tripod wouldn't be knocked over in the crowds, so shots like this, off to one side were the way to go

I LOVE the lion dance...it reminds me of childhood in Singapore. we have watched them practise their leaps on the high poles at the chinese temple here...makes you gasp how nimble they are.
