yesterday i found out that I have just over 3 weeks left here, so all too soon I will be waving goodbye to this lovely place and these gorgeous birds ... a few tears have been shed (mostly by me) I will be taking 3 months break from work (which will still mean I have plenty of leave time even after that - I am not good at taking a break) and hopefully after that some new destination in the new year. I am really hoping it is not back to my Canberra desk job. National office in their wisdom have decided that we should have no more than 12 months deployments and as I had 3 months in Darwin prior to getting here in Jan my time is up. I am really going to miss this place
Oh, I'm sad for you and for me, having just found you. I will definitely have to go back through your months to take in all that you have captured on Christmas Island.
I have really enjoyed the wildlife you have shown us from CI Megan. Your shots of this bird especially are awesome. I hope you get to go somewhere nice again.
This is a beautiful shot.....I agree with Mb Swartz - I've just found you and your beautiful photos of Christmas Island - I'm going to miss them but you seem to have an eye for great shots.....looking forward to more, wherever you end up!
