Fragipani in Darwin - something pretty after the recent crocodiles

photo 500
I am still day dreaming of warmer climates through revisiting my photos from my time in Darwin

Plumeria don't like the climate in Canberra, especially the frosts, I had a small one in a pot for three years, I'd bring it inside for the cold days. I would put it out on sunny days, one day I forgot it was on the porch and it didn't survive

This flower shows well, nice sharp outline and the colors are vibrant. The bokeh is perfect for those satiny petals.... a delight!

What a pretty bloom - such delicate colours, it reminds me of a gardenia in this shot. What a shame about the cold weather

@palusami one of the bonuses of the wet season, you can get raindrops on flowers pretty much whenever you want

Pretty little flower. I always wondered if frangipani flowers have anything to do with the pastry filling called "frangipane".
