At sunset the little island of Caye Caulker slows down (if it is at all impossible to slow down even further) and everyone heads for the waters edge to have a beer or two.
I´m not the greatest fan of taking sunset pictures but seeing that this is an island I have to post at least one ha ha.
This is not a orange-silhouetted sunset but a golden, translucent glow - l love it - especially your composition, use of space and the 3 little sticks that lead your eye right in and they give the picture depth.
You might change your mind about sunsets..your is stunning..love the colors and the tranquility of the scene. you'll be on the pp with this for sure. here is my fav.
@bruni LOL Bruni, I love other peoples sunset photos, but when I take them they look so "same old - same old" to me. Thanks for you comments and favs, you have no idea how much that means to me. XXX
This is beautiful. Just read your story and it's awesome. You are a true free spirit to do what you do. It's inspiring.
Must follow your journey. If ur ever in Sydney, let me know :)
@abhijit Thanks Abhijit, I cycled from Darwin to Adelaide and then along the coast to Melbourne. It was fantastic, I´m half sorry that I only discovered 365 a year ago, it would have been fun if I had it from the start. I kind of like having a photo journal.
I love sunset photos, but this one is so different! I love the warm golden tones to this - very different! The sunbeams coming from behind the clouds are fantastic!
