Samut Songkhram is home to the fascinating railway market that spills onto the railway line, and canopies get hurriedly taken down when a train comes along. Once the train has passed, the stall owners replace everything and continue as if nothing had happened.
Totally incredible and completely impossible to imagine happening in England where they shut the line because there were 30 enthusiasts waiting beside the line to see the Flying Scotsman come through. Now the schedule for the FS isn't published in case this happens again!
