Ashbuton Lake

Playing with new verson of Picmonkey.
My last day at Onslow I ended in hospital (19th June). My husband-Dave finally caught a decent size bream, so I went with my bucket down a concrete boat ramp to grab some water. I did not even notice the concrete ramp was slippery with mud and I slipped and I fell hard on my right bottom. As I was trying to call Dave, I felt very dizzy and just lied on my back until Dave came. Dave said I passed out for a minute. Other fisherman who saw it happen came over and called the ambulance. Ambulance came took me to hospital, I felt fine, just sore on my tail bone. After observations – checking my blood pressure, heart and sugar levels and then seeing a doctor I was discharge and went back home. Dave said he had to throw the bream back in the water. I think I was more devasted that we finally caught a decent size fish (we have been catching very small fish) and had to throw back because I fell without noticing it was slippery or not. Rest of the evening I relaxed, while Dave looked after me.
Glad all was OK in the end, just wounded pride and lost bream!!

Oh no! Horrible experience for you, but then you have a new 'fish story' about the one that got away. Sad to have lost a big one! Hope you feel better soon.

What an awful experience for you and shame about the fish too. Very interesting processing with the intense sky colour and the rest with the colour washed out.

Glad that you're ok Lee-Ann, much better that your bottom took the impact rather than your head!
