Llamas or Alpacas?

I have to admit that I had to google to find out whether they were Llamas or Alpacas....and I'm pretty sure they are Alpacas.

A Llama has longer curved ears, where as an Alpaca has short straight ears....plus a Llama has more of a straight back, and Alpaca has a curved/hunched back. So going by that information, I reckon they are Alpacas.

They were friendly little things and very inquisitive....and just a wee bit cute too :)

@bob65 I wasn't sure if it was Llamas or Alpacas that did the spitting & biting? These guys were very friendly, and even came close to the fence to check me out, as much as I was checking them out...lol

@365projectorgjenfurj Yes very dry, we need rain badly....and for the autumn weather to kick in! It's still so hot, high 30's every day for the last couple of weeks :-|
