Bruges canal cruise

This was the only day of our tour that we didn't do anything related to the Western Front - we got to be regular tourists for the day. Our first stop was Bruges, where we had the morning free to do as pleased. My Mum & I did a canal cruise along many of the gorgeous canals...we then did a bit of shopping, for Belgian chocolates & lace, and finished off with a bit of lunch in the main square.

For the afternoon, we then went to Ghent, where we all did a guided walking tour of the city.
