We have had quite a bit of rain over the last few weeks, causing the local river to rise. We have 2 bridge crossings in town...this one is the low-level bridge & always floods when there's lots of rain. The water has receded quite quickly and this is a shot taken as the river level was just below the bridge, with a bit of debris caught up along the sides. It has rained quite heavily again overnight, so chances are it could well be flooded again now. You can see the main bridge alongside....which is much, much higher making it totally flood proof - unless we had some monstrous flood with the dam wall bursting or something. TFL
