This is just one section of many in my area where the train tracks are not only no longer used, but they are also in such disrepair that they are pretty much unusable & would cost an incredible amount to have them all fixed....such a shame. This particular section was washed away in floods a few years ago, and has sat like this ever since, and will probably stay like it until the end of time.......
This so represents the loss of railway lines in the country! Fav. I wish the government had the sense to reopen them all & re-invigorate the inland areas.
