Giant's Causeway by leggzy

Giant's Causeway

This place really fascinates me...I've been there twice in my travels & reckon I could go there 100 more & still be just as fascinated with it. Although the people in the shot add perspective, I would dearly love to be able to get some shots without the hoards of people that are usually there - I think that's wishful thinking though!

Another of my fav older shots for "Wind-Back Wednesday" :)
If looks fascinating.. Some thing on to put on the bucket list..

It is a fascinating rock formation, maybe you have to be there very early in a morning to get a clear look at it without tourists.

Excellent image leggzy, you can clone out all the small people quite easy, the three on the right will take more time, if you lived close to me, I would call round to show you. ha ha., send the photo to me, and I will try and take them all out. e-mail: ggrumpy@hotmail.co.uk

I felt the same about the people when I was there. I'm amazed how different the rocks look in bright light, it was an overcast day when I was there. I must go back.

Oh, I have never been here yet! It's on my list though. I love the shape of the stones.

I rather like the 'arched' shape the small people in the background make! I have never been here - looks an amazing place to visit.

Went there in the 80's during the Troubles, and there weren't many tourists then. Happy they are there now. I seem to remember some of the steps were black and some pink, and this isn't a trick of the light in your photo.

Fascinating place. The people add perspective- I don't mind them. But I understand your wish to get a shot without them too. Perhaps a day when the weather is not as conducive to tourism!

Great shot, I've seen this place in photos before, it looks incredible.

I loe this place, as well, although it's been far too many years since I've seen it. I think the answer is to be there just as the sun is about to rise. I don't think I'd do it, though, I like my sleep too much.
