The Railway Hotel

I reckon just about every country town in Australia has a hotel called The Railway Hotel....and, they're not always at the railway, which seems a bit odd! lol
I really like the old verandah's & timber work on this one.

The town I live in has one, and it is a fair walk to the railway station, so who knows how/why they get such a name....perhaps in the day they were the closest hotel to the railway? One of life's mysteries I guess :)

What a great shot, lucky not to have any cars parked outside it too. I can't get over the lack of road markings and how clean the road looks. The architecture of the building is very interesting too, lots of lines and shapes.
