This reminds me of some of the old buildings at the docks in my brith city of Liverpool. It's thought provoking how similar these sorts of buildings are all over the world. Your Aussie versions seem to have a preference for the tin roof. It must get quite hot inside in summer.
This look exactly like a flour mill in York WA. The only difference being that the one in York has been fully restored and is used as an art exhibition.
Reminiscent of many early industrial buildings around the docks in my native east end of London in my youth, most gone now and replaced by modern developments. I always feel these walls have stories to tell and in the faded lettering most of all. Lovely poignant shot.
