Ilfracombe by leggzy

Ilfracombe

This is just up the road from where I work - an old heritage building that has seen many uses over the years. It is quite a big old house, and currently houses a variety of businesses - a hairdresser, cafe, beauty therapist & clothing store. I really like the entrance way with the 2 gorgeous big pots either side of the door with the red brick walls.

You can see the entire building in one of my previous shots here - http://365project.org/leggzy/365/2016-09-12

Is that top panel stained glass? It's a lovely imposing entrance.

A very grand entrance to the house.

The potted plants really add pizzazz to the entrance :)

Lovely entrance I think this would look even better if you cropped the sides to be 1/3 into the canopy of the shrubs (less negative space).

@casablanca I don't think it's traditional type stained glass....I'm not 100% sure, but it could be engraved/etched glass.

This is very 'grand' door - I note the house is called Ilfracombe, presumably from the North Devon coastal town in England.
