Saddlery Shop by leggzy

Saddlery Shop

That I think may now be a house at the rear. Seemed to be a lot junk in the front shop section....but looks well maintained.

I don't know the history of this building, but George Woolnough was singer Peter Allen's grandfather, whom he wrote the song 'Tenterfield Saddler' about....so not sure why this place, which is located in Carcoar, is named after George Woolnough...perhaps named as such as an attraction?
Looks like a very well maintained old shop. Your photos are lovely of all the old buildings.

Very cool looking facade. One of those buildings you just want to enter and take a peek inside 😊

Wow!! That is strange. I had to look Carcoar up to see where it was. Why would there be a shop there? I wonder if he lived there before/after Tenterfield. I posted shots of the Tenterfield shop a few years ago.
