Paradise is one of Cowra's most historic homes. Built in 1883 Paradise was commissioned by Peter Murray who paid two stone masons from Scotland 450 pounds to help build this magnificent home. It has a rich history and commands views across the Lachlan Valley.
I believe that this old stone home is now leased out for weekends etc.
I'd certainly hire this for a weekend - and just sit on that wonderful wrap around balcony, watching the world go by! Lachlan is a great Scottish name too!
