@monkeykid Buijs is the correct spelling but my bank still insists in spelling it this way, to get it changed is quite a hassle. Writing it with a Y does make it easier for foreigners to pronounce, in Dutch IJ and Y are pronounced in the same way.
@leonbuys83 I see!!! :) I knew about the pronunciation in Dutch, being the same, that's why I was curious! I'm glad to find I'm not the only one with banks misspelling my surname... I finally got it fixed after about five years, when I had to get a new card anyways!!! :)
@jaynspain thank you for your comment Jayn. I would recommend to just experiment, not everything will work but there are plenty of things in the house that make for interesting macro subjects.
Why does your surname have two spellings?
