It's been raining all day today so already thought there would be no macro photography today. But when I was standing in the kitchen I saw this feather floating in some water on the roof of the extension.(The lay-out of my house is such that my kitchen is on the first (US second) floor). So I climbed on the roof and picked up the feather and put it on the black acrylic plate.
This is a seven shot focus stack with initial raw processing in LR. Stacked in Photoshop CC with additional contrast and levels adjustments. The golden colour comes from the white balance setting I used (daylight).
