Flashy Damselfly by leonbuys83

Flashy Damselfly

Its been a warm, wet and mostly overcast day. Normally I don´t use my external flash for insect photography but with not enough natural light to get decent shutter speeds I decided to add a little light to take this shot.
Wonderful details on the insect and leaf. Great composition on this!

@hjv thank you Hubregt, you just have to ask them nicely and have a bucketload of patience. It also depends on the species of damselfly, some are easily scared off others are just curious what you are doing

A really good shot, and I would never have thought to use a flash, in fact I don't think I have ever used the flash on my camera!!
