Sunset River

Yesterday after the carnaval parade I went to the forest to take some pictures. I stayed until the sun began to set because I also wanted to take some photo's at a different location closer to my home. However when I was driving home I passed a small bridge over the river De Leijgraaf near the small village of Vorstenbosch in The Netherlands, I saw this beautiful orange glow over the river with a willow tree in the foreground. Without thinking I slammed on the brakes and parked on the side of the country road I was driving on, luckily there was no-one behind me.

I took several shots at this location, this image is a hdr made from 3 bracketed shots combined in HDR Efex Pro.

Ik ben geen fan HDR, tenminste, niet als dat heel erg aangezet is, maar dit vind ik prachtig, subtiel!

@overalvandaan ik ben ook geen fan van over-the-top HDR, het moet wel realistisch blijven. Ik gebruik alleen HDR als het helpt om details beter weer te geven of de belichting beter uit te laten komen.

Er ligt iets blauws in het gras, misschien had ik dat weggecloned. De uitschoten takken van de knotwilg zijn echt schitterend.
