Keeping Watch

Shot last Saturday at Safaripark Beekse Bergen, The Netherlands. While all the other lions were sheltering from the rain inside the back of the truck (which is part of their enclousure) this lady chose to get soaked on the roof of the truck.

Our nearby San Diego Zoo's Safari Park has an old station wagon type vehicle as part of their lion enclosure. We have frequently seen one of the females inside the vehicle, but "Dad" sunning himself on the top.
