Lonely and Forgotten

Noticed this lonely home a week ago and knew I'd be back. The clouds this afternoon were amazing so I thought since I was in the area I'd drive by. There's no trespassing signs posted and the chain going across the drive was down so I took a deep breath and pulled in. Got my shots without being shot at and headed home ... lol

@myfieldview Janine played with it a little in Lightroom to pop the color. Looked pretty scary in B&W but I just loved the clouds so I kept it color.

@dmdfday Diane I bet you're right but that would have really been trespassing and not sure I could have talked my way out of it. I'm a chicken at heart but have really stepped out of myself with this 366 project.

I love pictures like this. These old houses do have character and you can almost imagine the tales they'd have to tell if walls could talk. Nice find.

that wouldn't be a fair play if you're shooting pics and you're shot at with something else. hah! but you got a great photo here. and like you, i love those clouds, too. good thing you kept the colour. wonderful shot.
