Knew I was going to be waking up to fog so up early and out the door I went. Got lots of great pictures and I ended up at Blackhills. As I was walking to get a long shot of the lake I could hear the sound of geese even though I couldn't see them. They came out of the fog on one side of the lake to fly over the street to the other side. Liked the composition of this one the best and you can still see the fog so here is my POTD.
how cool is that! so nice that the fog was there to give them more contrast! so often they get lost in the trees when they are flying this low. GREAT job
I love how the yellow lines on the road start to disappear into the mist. You're quite the photographer, to capture these quickly-moving geese. I imagine they were probably flying really quickly!
@darsphotos Darlene I can't remember whether I through the camera setting dial to action (a little running man) or it was in manual which I changed it to at some point.
@lesip Thank you, Leslie, that is ok. I am learning all the time. I wish my camera had faster change time to various modes. I have so many photos at the park that I will have to play with settings and see what happens and write what I do so I remember.
