Another shot from yesterday. I was taking pictures from the top of the Lincoln Memorial facing the Washington Monument when I decided to walk around to the back where you would see the planes first. Everywhere was lined with people watching. I think the traffic was practically at a stand still while they were flying over head. There are two itty bitty WWII planes in the clouds.
The vibrant colors and fabulous composition make this almost like a painting! All the better because it's a view we don't often see! Well done, Leslie!!
