Spent the early morning helping remove the wreaths from Arlington Cemetery. Wreaths Across American was able to place 143,000 wreaths in December through donations and volunteers. It was amazing how many volunteered and showed up on this very cold morning. It was an honor and privilege to be able to help.
There are so many ways people make our lives easier to take for granted, its a blessing many of us don't consider before we search for and complain about our 1st world problems to fuss over.
Great volunteer effort on your part. I love that effort that is made every year by Wreaths Across America. Close to here is the one in Killeen (near Ft Hood). I believe it started there where you were.
I love your colorful jackets in this photo. They really pop. What an honor to do this volunteer work. It must really hit home to actually be there and see all the headstones. Nicely captured so many to the left in this photo.
