Their short visit is over. We dropped them at the BWI train station, next stop NYC. A play and visiting some friends is next on their list before boarding a plane to Berlin, Germany where my son is speaking at a conference.
Getting out of the air-conditioned car into 100 % humidity my len fogged so I quickly tried to clear it off so I could get a quick picture. As I waited for the train to get closer it started fogging up again :-( . Turning it B&W and playing with it in lightroom helped a little. Did I notice the pole coming from my son head ;-( Photographically a throw away but personally a treasured keepsake.
i had that experience too when I was in Ottawa a couple of weeks ago.
it is a happy photo of two special people in your life... it is wonderful.
know what i used to wipe off the moisture?
@glendq I only grabbed the camera as we headed out the door so no lens cloth with me. Seeing the moisture on my lens at first I almost passed on taking a pic but thought maybe if I unscrewed to UV cover len I could get a shot. While unscrewing it I thought it's only the UV cover so I stopped unscrewing and used my tshirt.
Oh, but the train coming up behind them....and her SMILE! Wow. That is where my eyes went. I did not even think of that pole! I get that fogged up lens at times. So annoying! But you cannot see it here.
