Hot Diggity Dog

While watching The Today Show a good while ago I thought these hot dogs were very interesting and I finally remembered to buy hot dogs today so I could try it. You put a skewer through the center of the hot dog and with a knife cut a diagonal line down the hot dog hitting the skewer. (Remove the skewer) Wasn't sure I'd done it right but once you start grilling it opens up. More of the hot dog gets grillicious flavor plus so much more room for all the condiments. It gets a Thumbs Up from me.... Oh, if you plan on taking pictures be prepared to burn your hot dog because you've turned your back on the grill and time stops trying to get condiment photos. NOT

really, you've not done this before? we've been doing that ever since i could remember. in fact my grandchildren won't eat hotdog if it's not prepared that way. that would've been excellent with a bottle of coke with your name on it! :-)
