Had a friend come over with her 11 month old yesterday. I got shots when he was a newborn and 3 months old. Got some cute shots in his halloween costume but thought I'd share this candid capture I got at the park. Taking pictures of an 11 month old is HARD. Lots of my ideas went right out the window. I really admire professional family photographers. For me I think it would suck the joy out of taking pictures.
I admire professional photographers too but they get paid which would put paid to enjoying what you do! This is sweet even if we don't see his face so clearly!
You need an assistant when photographing children. Someone else to keep them interested and looking in your direction my view do the photographing. Still though it's not an easy job.
This is a great shot, Leslie. I love that both of them are looking up. So cool in B&W. I admire professional photographers too. I agree with above too as a helper would be great to capture a photo that you would like to take. FAV
