Easels In Frederick Quick Draw this morning. Lots of very talented painters. They had 2 hours to paint in a couple block area of Downtown Frederick. The paintings were judged and put up for sale. I believe there were about 60 artists. Most of the painting went for hundreds of dollars. One that I saw sold for 1400.00 dollars. Not bad for a 2 hour job.
That is one way to steady your hand! Don't believe I've ever seen anyone paint that way!! Really a nice way to make some money!!! Would be nice if photos were sold the same way wouldn't it? FAV! Like your POV and candid shot!!
@jamibann no, but I did think about buying one or two that I liked. Most were a little out of my price range . It was surprising how fast they did sell.
