Built To Stand In The Sand

These towers were built on the Delaware coast during WWII. They were lookout towers to protect the coast if the Germans Attacked. They never did and the towers still stand. The Atlantic Ocean is right behind me. See the little boy at the bottom right of tower? The towers are HUGE....
Outstanding photo! Double fave! Love the wee fellow at the bottom to give good proportions! Simply superb!
