Who has the best husband ever ? That would be me. Bob arrived last night at 10pm because he knew I wanted this sunrise picture of us. I can't believe today we are celebrating our 39th Wedding anniversary. Seems like yesterday but together we made a home and raised two amazing sons. I can't imagine my life without him. I am truly blessed........
Okay so here is the update to Wednesday practice shot. I put the tripod as low as it would go in the sand to get in as much of our legs as possible (it has that center post) we were as close to water as possible( too close). Put the setting in camera and took a practice shot using Bob for my focus. Great all's good. Set timer and 4 shots. Did this 3 times with different poses. First just holding heart, then this one and the last one was Bob on his knee holding the heart up to me. I put a beach towel down because the sand is wet and Bobs in jeans. Well started timer, Bob on his knee me reaching for heart and here's comes the waves. We both ran I reached for the towel and missed so it got drenched but we stayed dry. Needless to say those were funny photos. Total shoot took maybe 5 minutes. I made one mistake that I didn't realize and the camera was still set on bracketing 3 shots from last night at the towers. ugh
After we put the bikes in the van taking the kayak out and putting at in the condo. Need to take a pic when we put it back in car while it takes the ride down in the elevator. Had a lovely bike ride on the boardwalk with a great surprise. It's Ocean City Jeep Week and all the sudden we see a line of Jeeps in the sand heading toward the inlet. They were entering the beach on 30th street and going all the way down to the beginning. Must have been a thousand of them. I had noticed a photographer on the beach all set up with lights right before they would exit the beach to the parking lot. Each jeep got its picture taken with the Atlantic Ocean as its back drop as they rolled by. Looked like they had it down to a science. Photographer would motion them with his hand to stop, pic taken, and another guy would hand them a card ( guess where to pick them up or look at them). It's also Sandcastle Week but with the sun shining low behind them not a good time to photograph so I will go back.
Well it's time to challenge Bob to a game of Putt Putt Golf so if you're still reading Have a Great Weekend my friends ......
p.s. best thing about this shot is I thought it up on my own.
