Quiet After The Storm

Got a text from a photo buddy at 7:30 am. "I'm plodded out and heading to D.C., want to join". Here's my answer. We had no problem driving into the city and found parking by some of the monuments, I have never seen this place so deserted but the Federal Government was still closed down. It was a great day of shooting and having fun with two photo friends. This is the Tidal Basin and a favorite of mine during Cherry Blossom Bloom. In the distant is the Jefferson Memorial.
