Taken closer to the Jefferson yesterday (7:20am) as the sun rises behind it. Must have been at least 50 photograhers side by side , 5 or 6 rows deep in this 30 foot area it has a slight incline. Seemed like hundreds and hundreds of photographers plus walkers, joggers and just people enjoying the very early morning at the Tidal Basin and it's a Thursday....
After 3 days in a row at the Tidal Basin I took today off but have asked Bob if he would drop me there tomorrow at 6am. Not sure how long I plan to stay so he'll pick me up at the metro station when I finally say uncle ....LOL Oh and it's official full bloom happened today.
@maggiemae it's a crap shoot. I was told today the clouds were so heavy that there was not much color today. Some days you're lucky. The sun will rise at different places during the year so not always behind Mr. Jefferson .
