We'll Go Down Together My Friend

Have had crab pictures in my mind for awhile and decided to do something about it. I've spent sometime lately watching people crab from the local piers around town. Looked fairly simple so headed out early this morning for my crabby photo shoot. Spent an hour catching, chasing at times, and carefully untangling them from the net. They didn't want to follow my directions but at times seemed to understand what I wanted. LOL A group of very nice HS senior graduates arrived to fish as I was leaving so I asked if they would like my chicken leg on a string and they smiled and said sure. No crabs were harmed but maybe they were a little irritated with me. It was a nice morning on the Northside Park pier.

side note this happened yesterday but was bumped by the Flag Day pic :-)

Fabulous detail in the shot for starters and I am so impressed with your ability to get them to cooperate even a little! The crab whisperer?

@bill_fe they believe they were going to die but they lived to see another crab fisherman. Maybe they learned their lesson and will stay away from the chicken legs on a string . LOL
