I was given free fair tickets this year from the gentleman that I took pictures of his piglets in March. The piglets now are HUGE and his daughters who are in 4H are showing them. They have been cleaning up in ribbons and have won 2 Grand Champion Banners. I had my husband go buy enough tickets so we could ride the Ferris Wheel when I was done photographing them showing their pigs. We had to walk to the end of the fair grounds to get to the Ferris Wheel and the line was LONG. My hubby was not a happy camper but he had paid 15 dollars to ride it so we waited our turn. Forty five minutes later with the sun now setting behind us we took our seats. I don't ride rides but have started riding Ferris Wheels when this photography obsession started. How else do you get up this high? LOL
i like getting on a ferris wheel with my camera. but most of them around here are enclosed and the enclosures aren't very clean! great shot of the fair grounds, les. where have you been? ☺
@summerfield not sure why I stopped posting on 365 but there's always that pull to come back. I was at the beach last week and forgot my power plug to my lap top so I used it very little and was only posting on Facebook. Trying to get back in the swing of things.
