I love seeing the iris bloom around my mailbox. Every year I tell myself I now need to thin them out, maybe it will happen this year.
My week was turned upside down when my mom (she's 88) fell and broke a bone in her elbow. Lots of pre op appointments to clear her for surgery which doesn't look like it will happen till Friday. Poor mom but thankful she saids she's not in too much pain.
