A little more info. from yesterday’s adventure to the dam now that I’m rested.
Rebecca and I arrived at the dam around 6:30. I wanted to make sure we got parking and would not be bused down to Fishersman Park. No worries the lot was 90% empty. Our mostly sunny day didn't materialize till 11:30. Lots of joking going on about the amazing morning night. I did quite a bit of walking the long fence line (helps to keep warm) and just about got my 10,000 steps in. Photographers come from all over during the eagle migration through the dam. By 8am there were cars from California, Nebraska, Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and of course Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. Not the picture perfect day we had hoped for, heck it even snow flurried for a few minutes. I think we both got a few shots we are happy with and I'm so glad we went. This was my first shot when we arrived . I wasn’t ready to get the camera equipment out of the car yet so this was taken with my new IPhone 11pro.
