High On The Hill

A day trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with my photo partner Rebecca. It was nice to get away if only for a lovely morning and afternoon. Got to love a cloud filled sky.

Wow! When was this statue erected? I and my wife were there about 4 years ago and i DID NOT see this there! I was there for abut 3 hours one morning, beginning at sunrise, at the Pennsylvania monument shown in the background and i don't think i would have missed this if it was there at the time ...Nice.

@ggshearron according to the plaque on the front which was tricky to get to it was dedicated August 8th 1888. It took me awhile to get to a point of view that put him in the clouds. If you made it to Little Round Top that's were he was.
