The seals on the Rerwick Beach were taking advantage of the fine day and grabbing some sun. A very secluded beach this is taken from the roadside and the extra shows the beach in full from the same spot.
Lovely. We have a big seal colony here in Cornwall at Godrevy Beach, Nr St Ives. Humans can't get to the beach (unless they absail down a sheer cliff) so they are very safe.
I used to live in Lincolnshire, and the beach at Donna Nook at certain times of the year is absolutely full of seals. They go there to breed. They are interesting to visit.
