Fish Ladder

Despite all the rain today there is still not a lot coming down through the fish ladder in the village. I do wonder how effective the ladder is but there are definitely fish both sides of the bridge so maybe it is working.

Do you get salmon in Shetland, or are they seatrout that run the fish ladder?

@korky no wild salmon. Hundreds of thousand of the farmed stuff though. If it is trout they won't get to a big size as it is a very small burn. Brown trout in the lochs though.
