Just over 3 hours drive from Perth to catch the ferry to Islay. Bit of a pilgrimage for my good lady who was born there in the early 60’s leaving when she was 3 and had’t been back since.
A mixture of sunshine and showers today on this Island that definitely has a smell of malt in the air!
This shot is of Port Ellen at the south end of the Island.
Lovely shot .. great light on the houses .. I had a very small sip of a Whiskey from this Island the other day .. apparantly my SIL owns a very small square footage of it .. (from purchasing the bottle of whiskey )
