The sun did put in a brief appearance today for about 90 minutes before sunset. As is often the case it resulted in it feeling much colder mainly due to the strengthening wind which required the Aberdeen bound ferry to leave early this afternoon.
As can be seen from the photo the wind has seen off any final leaf that was hanging on to the front garden sycamore.
