I once new a little guy -
I met him on the road.
He was travelling across the globe,
He didn't have a home.
I offered him a place to sleep,
And a bite to eat.
Grateful so was he to me,
He gave to me some peace.
His presence here is gone for now
But memories prevail.
I hope to meet him somewhere, sometime,
Along our lifetime trail
