so apparently yesterday was national hot toddy day and i was under-informed. to celebrate, the well-named local mission ice creamery, humphry slocombe created a mythical hot toddy sundae using glenlivet 12 year old scotch icecream, topped with hot honey lemon clove caramel and sprinkled with candied meyer lemon peel. (omg.) so i went today to see if they had any leftovers. unfortunately, they were sold out, but i did manage to wrangle this cup of secret breakfast (bourbon & cornflakes) ice cream drizzled with warm bourbon caramel. yum.
