I was trying to get a shot of the July blue moon, but found myself much more interested in the changing colors of the sky and the fireflies in the field.
Stunning photo Linda and just love the colors of the sky and how they blend without the slightest line!!! I could watch fireflies/lightening bugs all night!! We've had a lot of them this year which just makes my nights a wonderful delight!! Beautiful capture and huge FAV!
I really like how the colours of the sky change through blue to pink, a lovely moon shot. Sadly never seen fireflies don't think we have them in the UK.
Your photo and description are far more poetic than my experience on this night! I was "The Holiday Feast" at a Mosquito Reunion, and too late, Ken saw the moon already above the horizon blocked by the tree we were standing beneath! I'll hold the lovely thought of "changing colors and fireflies"!
