When I saw today's word was friends, I wanted to go back (way back) in my photos. This is my Brownie Troop (who years later became my Girl Scout Troop) It is both happy and sad to reminisce over this pic - Three of these girls are gone now. Yet most are doing well and I can "visit" them thru the wonders of social media. I hope you all have photos like this that you can cherish. BTW, the quote is from a Scout song. And I'm the top row, middle - don't know why I wasn't wearing my uniform ♥ Oh, I forgot to tell you the young man on the bottom row is looking at his sister - he went on field trips with us, since his mom (and my mother's best friend) was one of the leaders.
What a great image.... When I was out tonight looking for the perfect image for today's entry there was a a group of young girls out enjoying the Christmas lights ...all keeping their distance and wearing mask but still managing to have a great time. At the time I wondered if they were a Brownie troupe.
