Our regularly scheduled portrait has been interrupted due to an unusual TN snowstorm. This is Porter, a small and very happy snowman from my fav Etsy shop, viewing the situation. Not sure how many inches we have (see my front porch table?) but more snow is heading this way today. Still no mail service, trash pick-up, or newpaper delivery...but as long as the electricity and heat stays on, all is well.
Quote: Hey, all you geniuses who sang "Let It Snow" back in December - happy now??? (Maxine from Hallmark)
Porter is right in his element. you've as much snow as we have and for 2 pm snow is in the forecast until late Friday. oh well, one day we can say Spring is just around the corner.
I hope all will be well with you in the Mist of the snowstorm🙏🏾 It is great you can still be creative. I like your main subject and your background also.
This is actually a fantastic portrait. I love the clarity on Porter and the snowy scene he is watching. Staying warm is the most important thing you can do right now. Glad to hear you are not without power
I've quit complaining about the snow and the rolling blackouts when I talked to a friend whose daughter lives in Texas - no electricity, no gas, no water for 3 days. electricity and water came by on at noon today for her. Those poor people. Love your little snowman. Warming here so maybe this will melt soon.
I think Porter is happy to be an inside snowman. What a blast of winter you are being hit with!! So glad you haven't had issues with power or frozen pipes. Stay safe and warm, Lin!

That sure is a lot of snow, love how it falls on your table
Pity you are badly effected by the snow
Stay warm!
He looks suitably dressed to be released back into the wild :D
