The painting looks so beautiful. Expressive simplicity is very difficult to achieve. This is very well done. Looks loke a couple of brush strokes, but there is so much behind that. The shapes are spot on, there are highlights and shapes, the orange is not flat. A really grest picture. Is this an entire painting or a fragment? (Looks very Japanese to me). Who painted it?

@monikozi My long time friend (45 years or so) paints in her spare time and gave me this for a birthday several years ago. She has a room in her house dedicated to her hobby (only fair, since her husband has his man cave!)
